About the Artist

Candida is a  Dallas local Artist who has work in many private collections nationwide.  Candida is well known for  her ability to capture so much detail  that many of her drawings are mistaken for photos.

Primarily self taught from an early age but also completed studies at the University of Texas in Austin and the University of North Texas in Denton. She has attended many workshops over the years.  She has been drawing professionally since 1996. You may have seen her at some of the local outdoor art festivals such as Montage, Cottonwood Art Festival, Main Street, etc.

Whether you choose one of her works in the gallery or you want to have her create an original commissioned masterpiece, you will  appreciate the composition of highlights playing on shadows in her black and white pieces or the vibrant or subtle colors in her colored pieces. Here are some of the different series she has done.
